So what are your plans for the Year of the Faith? Pope Benedict has called for a Year of Faith from October 11, 2012, (the fiftieth anniversary of the opening of Vatican Council II and the twentieth anniversary of the publication of the Catechism of the Catholic Church), until November 24, 2013, the Solemnity of Christ the King. He told the faithful, "It will be a moment of grace and commitment to a more complete conversion to God, to strengthen our faith in Him and proclaim Him with joy to the people of our time."

This is a wonderful opportunity to communicate our faith to those around us and help in the new evangelization of the western world. The last 2 popes have been calling us to help and our baptism calls us to take part.
